We also welcome many U.S. citizens who have grown up abroad, further enhancing our dynamic, international environment.

At AU, diversity isn鈥檛 just reflected in our student body鈥攊t鈥檚 woven into the fabric of our faculty, academic programs, and global exchanges. With nearly 70 majors and minors, as well as preprofessional advising programs in law and medicine, AU offers unmatched academic flexibility. You can double major, design your own interdisciplinary major, or combine studies across different schools within the university. Additionally, over 40 majors provide the option to pursue a five-year combined bachelor鈥檚/master鈥檚 degree, empowering you to tailor your education to your goals.

Experiential learning is at the heart of the AU experience. Ninety-five percent of our students engage in internships, study abroad opportunities, and research, turning knowledge into action and preparing for impactful careers.
