Attend a Concert
From the AU Symphony to the chamber singers, there鈥檚 a concert for everyone on campus this semester. Check out the AU Concerto and Aria Competition on February 1鈥 AU musicians are already tuning strings, oiling valves, and warming up their vocal cords for this friendly competition. Or join an evening of musical excellence as the AU Music Program faculty take the stage at the on February 15! Tickets are free for students. 聽

On January 18, the AU community will gather for the , and on January 21鈥撯搕he day after Inauguration Day鈥撯搕he university will host its next Unity Meal with a focus on the spirit of service that is at the heart of AU. 聽

Cheer on AU Athletes at a Sporting Event
Ready to cheer on the Eagles? AU鈥檚 sports schedule is filled with can鈥檛-miss matchups this season! Here are just some highlights: Men鈥檚 Basketball, January 25 against Colgate at 4 pm., Women's Basketball, February 8 at 2 pm against Lehigh, and March 1 at 2 pm against Colgate. Or check out Wrestling on January 26 at noon against California State 青瓜视频, Bakersfield, (there are also duals at 2 pm and 4 pm that day). Swim and Dive has just one home meet left on January 24 at 4 pm against Old Dominion 青瓜视频 for Senior Day. And Lacrosse Senior Day is April 19 against Boston 青瓜视频 at noon.
Show Off Your Work at the Mathias Student Research Conference
On March 22, join this special annual event, a forum for CAS undergraduate and graduate students to present original research, scholarship, and creative work before colleagues, faculty, and friends. CAS student will be open until 8 am on February 3.
This year, CAS has introduced two brand-new AI-focused award categories:
- 聽AI in Mathematical, Computer Sciences, and Natural Sciences
- AI in Arts, Humanities, and the Social Sciences

Celebrate History
On April 23, join the Department of History for History Day. Faculty will showcase research projects completed by students in research seminar courses and host sessions throughout the day featuring original student research.

Catch a Show
Your fellow students are already hard at work on several productions this semester. Tickets are free for students. Check out 9-5, the Musical, featuring the iconic music of Dolly Parton, a hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era. Or see Dance Nation, a Pulitzer-Prize nominated play about ambition, growing up, and how to find your soul in the heat of it all. And don鈥檛 miss A Game of Love and Chance in which you鈥攖he audience鈥攇ets to choose the cast!
Receive Free STEM Tutoring at 鈥淪cience Hours鈥 聽
Beginning on January 22, come to the Hall of Science, Room 11, every Wednesday from 3-5 pm. You鈥檒l find cookies, community, and free STEM tutoring. SPICE Events (science programming in research, careers and education) occur right after Science Hours every month or so. For more community and mentoring access, attend STEM Time Conversations on select Wednesday evenings throughout the spring semester. 聽
