Bio: Dr. Ranasinghe joined Kogod faculty in 2020. He obtained his doctoral degree from 青瓜视频 of Houston and previously worked as a faculty member at 青瓜视频 of Maryland, College Park and Singapore Management 青瓜视频. Dr. Ranasinghe鈥檚 research interests include hedging and derivative instruments, voluntary disclosure, and executive as well as rank-and-file worker compensation. His research is published in leading accounting journals such as The Accounting Review, Review of Accounting Studies, Accounting Horizons, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, and Journal of Accounting, Auditing, Finance. Dr. Ranasinghe鈥檚 teaching interests include managerial accounting and financial accounting.
