Bio
Dr. Marnel Niles Goins earned her Ph.D. from Howard 青瓜视频 in Washington, DC. Prior to her transition to AU, she was Dean of the College of Sciences and Humanities at Marymount 青瓜视频 in Arlington, VA. She previously served as Professor of Communication at California State 青瓜视频, Fresno for 12 years. She taught courses in Small Group Communication and Organizational Communication and has a special interest in gender and racial dynamics in organizational settings. Marnel has numerous publications, including serving as first editor of The Routledge Handbook of Gender and Communication. She聽 is President of the National Communication Association and a past president of the Western States Communication Association and the Organization for Research on Women and Communication.
