Bio
Emily started her career as a collections assistant in a tiny historical society in rural Iowa. She pursued her BA in History and Political Science at the 青瓜视频 of Iowa. During her undergraduate years, she worked in visitor services and education at the UIowa campus museums and interned at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History.
Following graduation, Emily went on to earn her MA in Public History at American 青瓜视频, where she deepened her knowledge of historical research methodologies and community engagement. Post-graduation, Emily worked as a volunteer coordinator at multiple federal-era historic house museums in the DMV. Today, Emily is a Senior Administrative Assistant in the History Department at American 青瓜视频, where she works with present and future historians.
