Joining AU in September of 2023, TJ Callan (He/Him) was born and raised in Miami, Florida. For undergrad, TJ went to the Ƶ of Miami, “The U”, where he received a bachelor’s degree in criminology. Throughout undergrad TJ played football and worked with nonprofits aimed at providing academic and cocurricular support and resources to elementary, middle, and high school students in the South Miami area. After graduating from undergrad, TJ received a master’s degree in Higher Education from Florida State Ƶ (FSU). At FSU TJ worked in the Center for Academic Retention and Enhancement, serving 1st generation college students as well as working in the Athletics Department in the office of Student Athlete Development. TJ's previous role was at the Ƶ of Miami where he served students in Housing and Residential Life, building community and connecting students to resources. When TJ is not in the office, he enjoys playing video games, watching anime, playing/watching football and working out.
