Bio
Rainey Ransom has been an Adjunct Professor at American 青瓜视频 within the Department of Justice, Law and Society since 1991. Dr. Ransom was a full-time professor in the Department of Justice, Law and Society at American 青瓜视频 for one year, but remains an Adjunct Associate Professor, where her areas of expertise include the prison system and capital punishment. She received the university鈥檚 Outstanding Adjunct Professor Award for an unprecedented two times in three years, 2006 and 2009. She earned a PhD in Sociology: Justice from American 青瓜视频 and a JD from the Columbus School of Law, The Catholic 青瓜视频 of America.
Rainey Ransom is currently a judge on the D.C. Superior Court Bench.
