Lucas ²Ñ²¹°ù³ÙòԱð³ú-³Õ¾±±ô±ô²¹±ô²ú²¹ isÌý an SJD Candidate at American Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ Washington College of Law. His doctoral research focuses on the criminalization of femicide in Latin America as a legislative tool to confront gender-based violence.
Prior to joining the Washington College of Law SJD program, Mr. Martinez-Villalba worked as an adjunct professor at the Villanova Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ School of Law. ÌýHis background includes practice in both the public and private sectors, working as an associate at Rios Ferrer, Guillén-Llarena, Treviño & Rivera LLP in Mexico City and as a consultant in different public institutions in Colombia.
