Search Committee
After close collaboration with the Faculty Senate Executive Committee, the provost search committee’s composition reflects a focus on shared governance. Search committee members were nominated by governance groups for faculty, staff, and students. Tenure and term faculty were nominated through a process led by the Faculty Senate, while represented and administrative staff were nominated by union representatives and Staff Council. Students were nominated by the Undergraduate Student Senate, Graduate Leadership Council, and Student Bar Association. The provost search committee will work closely with search firm Isaacson, Miller.

A member of IM since 2014, Keight brings diverse experience in non-profit and higher education organizations to her practice. She has worked on more than a dozen presidential searches, including Hamilton College, Duke Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ, Johnson C. Smith Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ, Elizabeth City State Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ, Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ of Maryland, Baltimore County, and Mount Holyoke College. Additionally, she has played a key role on several student affairs and diversity, equity, and inclusion leadership searches at The Ohio State Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ, Harvard Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ, Duke Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ, Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ of Pennsylvania, MIT, and Cornell.
As a search consultant, Keight has worked with historically black colleges and universities, women's colleges, and K-12 education and advocacy organizations. Repeat work with top-tier research universities proves her skill in identifying an organization's core challenges and finding the candidate whose skills can help solve them. Her clients also appreciate her ability to view searches through the lens of strategic change, a skill she learned managing strategy and organization development projects for federal agencies.
Keight is passionate about supporting mission-driven organizations through her work as a search consultant and knows the importance of strong leadership in strengthening civil society. Additionally, Keight is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated which provides opportunities to give back to her community in meaningful ways. Keight also serves as the board president of the Down Syndrome Network of Montgomery County and recently was appointed by Governor Wes Moore to the State of Maryland’s Interagency Council for Infants and Toddlers.
Keight holds a BA from Emory Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ, an MA from Indiana Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ, and an EdD from the George Washington Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ.

Pam’s practice is focused on higher education, non-profit advocacy organizations, and professional associations. She recruits presidents, chancellors, provosts, deans, and vice presidents in large public systems and research universities, as well as comprehensive and private universities. She also conducts academic leadership searches in a variety of professional areas including academic medicine, business, law, and fine arts. In addition to her deep experience and portfolio of work in higher education, she has recruited executive directors and chief operating officers for national non-profit and state-affiliated organizations.
Pam first joined Isaacson, Miller in 2007 and previously worked with a boutique search firm, where she developed experience recruiting for CHRO and CFO roles in associations and private equity-backed companies. In her career prior to search, Pam worked for nearly a decade in student affairs as an academic advisor and administrator at Boston Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ’s College of Communication and Georgetown Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ’s School of Nursing and Health Studies.
Throughout Pam’s career, clients have appreciated her detail-oriented and highly consultative approach, and her ability to adapt to the organization’s needs for leadership assessment and recruitment. In addition to her professional career, Pam serves as an advocate and volunteer for a non-profit animal rescue organization in the Washington, DC region. Pam holds a BA from the Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ of Delaware and an MS from Northeastern Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ.

Berlinda Mojica joined Isaacson, Miller as an Associate in 2019. Since joining the firm, she has worked on a broad array of leadership searches across the civic sector, including in arts and culture, PreK-12, higher education, and health and human services. Most recently, she led recruitments in our higher education practice area for the Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ of Maryland, Baltimore County, American Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ, Carnegie Mellon Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ, and the Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ of Vermont.
Berlinda brings deep experience advising our search committees and boards of trustees about these important moments of leadership transition. In all her work, she brings a strong and consistent commitment to diversifying the leadership of the civic sector. Since 2019, 77% of her placements have identified as women and/or people of color.
While in graduate school, Berlinda served as Boston’s Interim Director of Organizing Strategy for Leadership for Educational Equity. She supported education leaders to civically engage with their local communities by helping develop their social networks and community organizing skills.
Before coming to IM, Berlinda served as a fourth-grade teacher and partnered with Houston Independent School District to establish community partnerships. Today, while enjoying life in Houston's East End, Berlinda continues her commitment to her hometown as an advisory board member to Phoenix Charter Academy Network and the Jordan Boys and Girls Club.

Alexis Scott joined Isaacson, Miller in 2021 as a Search Coordinator. She comes to IM with experience in Human Resources, having worked in various capacities with organizations, including Duquesne Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ, Spirit Consulting, and D.C. Central Kitchen.
Alexis earned her M.A. in Corporate Communication with a specialization in Management Communication, along with her B.A. in Communication Studies with minors in Psychology and Global Health from Duquesne Çà¹ÏÊÓƵ.
During her time at IM, Alexis’ work has primarily involved searches within IM’s Higher Education and Social Justice + Advocacy practice areas, with a focus on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) positions. She is also a member of the firm’s EDI Committee and the Learning Management System EDI task force, which is responsible for curating, researching, and developing customized organization-wide EDI training content.
