Speaking Appearances

Members of the Institute regularly speak at public, policy, and academic convenings. This page provides information about staff members' previous speaking engagements and how to request a speaker at your event.

Speakers Bureau

Through its听Speakers Bureau, the Institute听provides in-depth and objective information on the emerging suite of responses to climate change known as 鈥渃arbon dioxide removal鈥 or 鈥渘egative emissions technologies (NETs).鈥 The Institute鈥檚 staff includes potential speakers who can craft presentations to meet the specific needs of your institution and events. In the case of academic institutions, we often are amenable to coupling event presentations with classroom lectures. Our staff has expertise in all aspects of this field, including technology assessment, law, ethics, and politics associated with potential deployment of these technologies. We have made hundreds of presentations to date, on this subject and many others, to an array of academic audiences, community organizations, non-profit organizations, and government bodies.
