Details about MPC event and headshot of Dr. OakleyGeorgia State Professor of Sociology听听will join MPC on Tuesday, March 25 at 5:30 pm (in AU Watkins Building room 106) to discuss public housing and residential mobility in Atlanta, GA.听Dr. Oakley's research focuses on urban social inequalities, particularly about race, housing, the built environment, and the spatial arrangements of urban policies. Her collaborative work concerning the federally approved demolition of Atlanta's public housing led to her invited testimony before Congress on housing preservation and the Neighborhood Choice Initiative.听
